Mind and The City: 02. Adaptasi Lagi

Dengan suara yang lantang, ia bertanya kepada siapa harus menuju bagi orang yang baru/new hire. "Terima kasih Pak", lalu ia duduk di ruang tunggu. 1 jam berlalu, aku lalu lalang ke pantry untuk mengambil air, cuci tangan, belum juga ia dipanggil. sama seperti hari pertama aku masuk.

Tak lama kemudian, ia mendapat panggilan telepon dari seseorang yang mengarahkannya

keluar main office, menuju clinic dimana orang-orang baru sudah banyak berkumpul. Setelah makan siang, aku kembali melihatnya duduk di ruang tunggu sampai hampir menjelang sore. Ia lalu diperbolehkan kembali ke kamar.

Keesokan harinya, ia sudah mengenakan seragam hijau. Oh aku baru sadar kalau seragam hijau artinya posisinya berbeda denganku. Jalannya sedikit membusungkan dada

dan sangat terlihat bangga. Kalau dibandingkan denganku, sangatlah jauh berbeda.

14 hari berlalu, tidur tak juga lelap. Setiap jam terbangun, cek jam di handphone masih tengah malam. Awal-awal adaptasi memang sangatlah berat, sekecil apapun alasannya.

13. Mind & The City: TALK ABOUT DREAMS

Dreams and life are always connected. When we have a dream and wanna make it come true, just take the actions. Dreams with no execution is impossible tho. It's okay to speak out our dreams. Maybe with discussing it to a friend. For me, it always works. Talk about dreams is like praying. It's the best way to ask and God will always help. 

One month before i work for Thiess, when i was on my way to the market with my mom. I was texting my sista on WhatsApp. I texted "I will get better job so we could shop fruits & vegetables together". 

And she replied "Nice idea!"

I knew i was both telling my hopes and praying at the time. I remember another one. When i was on my way to.. (i forgot). Mostly i'm thinking about something when i'm riding my bike.. So i told myself that "i will get my main and side job, so i will get busier and that's all i wanted."

Alhamdulillah, it happened just like my prays. I didn't expect too much on it. I just keep it simple. And anything goes well during these 6 months.

My Body, Shocked!

I've been working during these 3 weeks, but it's so weird. I forgot about each thing happened at the last 2 weeks, it's quite normal activities at office. However, i feel i've done and learn many new things. One of them is joined to karaoke contest ( lomba karaoke Pasar Segar, Balikpapan) on 8-9 November 2014. I came in final show with other 10 finalists and got rank 6 =D haha.

I think that i could do better than today, but it's always okay. I don't really force my recent ability on singing. Cuz i did not practice enough and professionally. 

I sang Adele - Hiding My Heart and Happy by Pharrell William at the final show.
